At BidBudgie we feel that we should contribute towards righting some of the wrongs in the world, so we make annual donations to charity based on the profit generated by the website.
We've chosen 3 charities that we believe do great work and would make the best use of our donations. What we need from you is your vote for which charity you would like to see the money donated to – you will be given this choice during the registration process but you can change your vote at any time in your account management area. Each year we will use the results from your votes to apportion the donation between each of the charities.
These guys work around the world to help provide children with four core rights: health, freedom from hunger, education and protection. They work hard to empower children to claim their own rights as well as actively providing children with such rights.
With ambassadors such as Davina McCall, Paul O’Grady and Mario Testino you can be sure that Save The Children provide much needed support to children throughout the world.

With around 285,000 new cases of cancer being diagnosed in the UK every year, most people in the UK have been directly or indirectly affected by cancer in their lifetime. Cancer Research UK are constantly working hard to improve the understanding of cancer and develop better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
There are dozens of public figures supporting Cancer Research UK, including Dame Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman and Ronan Keating to name but a few.

Over the last four decades Heart Research UK have funded many pioneering projects at the cutting edge of science. They paid for 6 of the 8 first successful UK heart transplants, carried out by Sir Terence English at Papworth Hospital.
Many things that we now take for granted, such as heart valves, angioplasty and more recently, amazing artificial heart pumps, would not have been developed at the time they were, without their help.

The graph below shows the current status of the votes cast by all of our members when they join BidBudgie. At the end of each year, the 'No Preference' votes are removed prior to calculating the donations to each charity so that we still donate the full profit allocation across the chosen charities.
All three of these charities are very worthy causes and help to make the world a better place in their own ways, so join us today and help us increase our donations for this year!
