Our auction site is only for UK residents

We don't allow members that are not UK residents, so you'll get better odds when you play in our online auctions compared to most of the alternative auction sites. This means you're not competing against members from other time zones that may be playing during the night.

Prizes in our auctions are all brand new

Every single prize available on BidBudgie.co.uk is brand new and in the original sealed packaging. The full manufacturers' warranty is passed on to our winners everytime. If your prize becomes faulty within its warranty period we'll arrange to have it repaired or replaced wherever possible, and a full refund will be offered where the item cannot be repaired or replaced.

No hidden charges for our auction winners

We firmly believe that our winners should feel like just that - WINNERS! We don't add any sneaky charges on top of the winning bid as most of the alternative auction sites do.

There's no extra:

• VAT
• Delivery fees
• Packaging costs
• or anything else for that matter

All the winner pays once the auction ends is the amount of the winning bid - simple!

If you place a bid in one of our auctions, it stays

Most of the alternative auction sites prevent you from having too many unique bids in the same game. If you're lucky or skillful enough to have a large number of bids that are unique, we'll NEVER remove them from the auction, unlike the the alternative online auctions.

If it's our fault, we don't penalise you

It amazes us how some of the other auction sites get away with this one, but we believe it's simply because people don't read the terms and conditions properly. We're sure that we won't be popular with the other sites for exposing this one, but here goes anyway...

If for some reason we are unable to send the prize to the winner (it's extremely rare, but it can happen), we'll pay the RRP value in cash to the winner. It seems only fair that you should have the oportunity to find the same product yourself and pay for it using our cash, after all we'd be in the wrong here wouldn't we?

Check the small print of the alternative auction sites for how they handle this same situation. Most offer you a refund, but what did you pay? All you'll see refunded to you is the amount of your winning bid!! That could be just a few pence instead of the shiny new laptop or TV that you were expecting...

There's a winner for every auction

We have a failsafe system that ensures that we always have a winner in each and every game on our auction site. In the unlikely event that there are no unique bids when the game ends, then the member who held the last lowest unique bid is declared the winner.

Again, check out the alternative auction sites to see how they deal with such occurances. Most simply state that there is no winner, but you could say that the site owners are the winners if they don't refund the cost of the bids!

In summary we try to keep everything as fair as we can on BidBudgie.co.uk, we don't restrict any reasonable activity on our auction site. You can win as many games as possible, place as many bids as you like, have as many unique bids as you like and we'll always look after our members to the best of our abilities.

Despite all of this, we take security seriously and we obviously have to protect ourselves and our members from those few members that try to abuse the system. So we may take steps to limit account access and/or remove bids that we suspect have been placed in a fraudulant or abusive manner. Thankfully, there are very few of these.
